Crufts: March 7th-10th, 2024 at the NEC Birmingham, UK
Crufts is to show dog events what Wimbledon is to international tennis championships. It’s the one where every show dog owner wants to win. More than 18,000 competitors will take to the prestigious arena. Hundreds of thousands of visitors will join them with the event broadcast to an international television audience.
Founded by showman Charles Cruft, the first Crufts show dog event dates back to 1891. Today, one of the most exciting highlights is the world-famous Best in Show competition. The top dog in each breed group competes for the much-coveted title.
Visitors can meander through countless stalls that feature all the best grooming supplies for show dogs. And there’s plenty of expert advice on hand from trainers and breeders alike. The competition takes place over four days, with each focusing on these categories:

Sydney Royal Easter Show: March 22nd-April 2nd, 2024
For Australian breeders, this is their country’s big one. Here are some of the forthcoming key dates and highlights:

- March 24th-31st (excl 27th) Conformation Classes

The Sydney Royal Easter Show has become an iconic Australian event. It attracts over 800,000 people annually and has its roots as far back as 1823.

Dogs SA Winter International: May 30th-June 4th, 2024
This is the Premier Four Day, Four Show weekend in South Australia. It has won three consecutive prestigious Dog News Australia awards for “Australia’s Favourite Show” and has a distinct international flavour to it. Here are the important dates to note:
- Thursday, May 30th: A.N.K.C. Show
- Friday, May 31st: F.C.I. C.A.C.I.B. Show
- Saturday, June 1st: Crufts Qualifier Show
- Sunday, June 2nd: Asia, Africa and Oceania Show

Brisbane Royal Ekka Show: August 10th-18th, 2024
The Sushi Canine Competition at Ekka has become one of the most highly anticipated show dog events, with over 2,000 annual entries. Dog breed categories include “Toys”, “Working Dogs” and “Terriers.”
